God gave birth to the Hosanna Community Baptist Church, Inc. of Miami, Florida on July 27, 1998. The initial meetings consisted of weekly Bible Studies. Then, after prayerful consideration worship services commenced on August 16, 1998, with eighty members at Lincoln Field Apartments of Miami-Dade County. The Apartment complex served as the meeting place for worship, bible study and youth after school programs through the church non-profit entity Hosanna Community Foundation, Inc. On September 17, 1998, Hosanna Community Baptist Church was incorporated as a non-profit corporation under the laws of the State of Florida.
In 1999, because of its continued growth and community involvement, the church purchased land located at 2171 NW 56th Street, Miami, Florida, for the erection of a new sanctuary as the permanent church site. In 2001, zoning permission was granted by Miami-Dade County.
At the turn of the century (2000 – 2005) Hosanna Community Baptist Church obtained building permit approvals and secured construction loans for the erection of the new sanctuary. On August 2, 2007, Hosanna Community Baptist Church completed construction on a 343-seating capacity facility.
At the present time, the average Sunday Attendance of Hosanna Community Baptist Church is growing, and new members are coming to Christ each week. The church continues working toward the refinancing of debt to better position itself for ministry investments.
Our Church Mission is to impact the church members and community residents and the world through the preaching and teaching sound biblical doctrine of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To cultivate and environment for continuous spiritual and personal growth, explore new ministry opportunities that increases the kingdom of God, resulting in superior worship results, increased numerical growth and ongoing evangelistic works.
Our Church Passion is to ignite desire within church members, communities served and all mankind to assist in accomplishing our mission. We have a passion to develop ministries that actively execute positive change within individuals, families, and communities. To strengthen individuals, families, and communities by seeking continuous improvement in our methods of ministry and evangelism. Our passion leads us to challenge each member and all we meet to serve Jesus Christ in Spirit and Truth, to become active in ministry, to seek continuous personal growth and development for the advancement the Kingdom of God.
Our Church have a VISION that the world will respond to our mission and passion in our desire of serving them in the Spirit of excellence by accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Savior and by living the transformed life.
